Mortal Kombat 11 Director teasing a Nightwolf reveal

Ed Boon, the Director of Mortal Kombat 11 has posted what may be a tease for the next confirmed DLC fighter for Mortal Kombat 11.

A few weeks ago, Netherrealm released a new DLC trailer for Mortal Kombat 11‘s first Kombat Pack.  They revealed it would contain five characters in total, three of them being Nightwolf, Sindel and Spawn.

While it was initially unclear which of these named characters would be getting the spotlight next.  The image shareed is of of Nightwolf’s signature tomahawk, seemingly suggesting that he will be the next character making his debut following Shang Tsung.

About Nightwolf

Nightwolf is a Matoka warrior who, although introduced as a historian and a shaman, does not live in the past. He is a proud and fierce warrior dedicated to the cause of good, and is in contact with Raiden through visions. As such, he draws on both internal and external spiritual energy to enhance his power.

Originally, his tribe was Lakota-Sioux (hence why he refers to Raiden by ‘Haokah’), but this was later retconned in Mortal Kombat 11. He is now a member of a fictional tribe called the Matoka.

Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long before Nightwolf receives his official gameplay trailer and overview.
