Nedgame lists Oddworld: Soulstorm

Oddworld: Soulstorm for the Nintendo Switch has just been listed by our friends at Nedgame.

The Oddworld game was initially launched in 2021 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and given that a lot of Oddworld titles have found their way to the Nintendo Switch, it doesn’t seem like a reach to imagine it is in production. It should be mentioned that Oddworld: Soulstorm had mixed reviews, so maybe they will improve with the rumored Nintendo  Switch version.

About Oddworld: Soulstorm

A new threat emerges as 300 newly released slaves celebrate their escape from the industrial megacomplex of RuptureFarms. They will soon realize that, although their physical connections have been cut, they are far from free.

Join the revolution by guiding their hero, Abe, on a nearly impossible trek to unearth the truth behind decades of deception and false news that have indoctrinated his people.

Scavenge for things and create strong equipment, empower your troops, and choose whether to assault the enemy directly or stealthily to unlock each of the four potential endings to this epic story.

Will Abe be able to cure his companions and gain their freedom? What more horrors will they discover as they travel through dusty gorges, abandoned mines, massive container yards, and vast railroad terminals? Is this just the next step toward freedom, or is it really the end of the road? Only you can offer them the optimism they need to discover the truth.

Oddworld: Soulstorm includes casual and often hilarious violence against humanoid extraterrestrial species.

These characters may be shot, burnt, blown apart, crushed, electrocuted, devoured by animals, and otherwise mutilated by a variety of opponents, the environment, or the player.

Addiction and drug misuse, species enslavement, and the fomenting of revolutionary ambitions are all themes in the story.
