Phoenixx Games has said that NeverAwake will come out in Q1 2023 for Nintendo Switch and other consoles.
In the game, players take on the role of Rem, a fierce fighter with a dragon-shaped gun, and try to stop a young girl’s nightmares.

In the deepest parts of her mind, she sees Rem, a fierce fighter with a demon-shaped gun that looks like a dragon. Rem fights against the forces that are holding her captive.
Dodge, aim, and shoot in 360-degree levels. Build up enough power to release a wide blast around Rem when she is surrounded by enemies as she drifts through beautiful hand-drawn landscapes of the girl’s fears and nightmare monsters. Kill the horrible things that keep her awake, like dentists, mean dogs, and going to school. Other enemies are based on fears that Japanese kids are more familiar with, like the first boss, which is a radish monster that represents the taste of wasabi.
Each of the 80 levels loops until Rem gets all of the souls. If Rem can’t beat her enemies in time, each loop gets harder. Fight more than a dozen bosses and try to figure out what’s going on in the girl’s mind and what might help her get out of her sleep paralysis.
