New gameplay footage RollerCoaster Tycoon

New gameplay footage RollerCoaster Tycoon

During the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco we saw the following footage of RollerCoaster Tycoon for the Nintendo Switch.

About the footage; The footage is made by filming, a TV on which the game was played. It is therefore difficult to estimate how the graphical quality of the game will be exact.

The footage starts with an almost empty park. There are some attractions but there are no trails and the terrain is still very boring. Gradually paths are being constructed, walls are being built and there is also a river through the landscape.

After a little more than five minutes there is a big cut. In one go we jump to a park which is already very complete. Both in terms of attractions and in terms of decorating the grounds.

Handheld footage

Just before the nine minutes we switch back to the simple park from the beginning. This time we only see it in handheld mode instead of on the TV. Then, a minute later, we see another, complete, park on the TV.

All in all interesting images.

The sound is not always good but what is clearly stated is information about the graphical quality of the game. During the launch, the game will run at 30 frames per second. In dock mode it will be at 1080p and in handheld mode at 720p.
