The Pokémon Company released a new teaser for the two upcoming mainstream Pokemon games, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which will be released this fall. As you can see, it’s a 3D open world adventure, and the visual design of some of the characters seems to be influenced by the massively popular smartphone game Pokemon GO, but with greater detail.
The game will ideally build on some of the new elements seen in the most recent mainstream Pokemon game, Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which was released earlier this year and was highly appreciated by Pokemon fans all around the globe. When Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are released on November 18th, they are sure to be a big success for The Pokemon Company. Digital pre-orders for the titles are now available on the Nintendo eShop.
Reveal of the Cover Art
Koraidon and Miraidon, the new Legendary Pokémon featured in these titles, appear on the retail edition of the game’s cover, and the title logos are adorned with foil stamp-like graphics that employ these Legendary Pokémon as themes. These games’ packaging resembles the covers of ancient books and gives the impression that a fresh tale awaits.
The first open-world RPGs in the Pokémon franchise are multiplayer Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Along with series classics like trading and fighting Pokémon, players in these games will be able to explore the region’s different locales with up to four people.
