FDG Entertainment announced this month that Venture Kid is coming to the Nintendo Switch as a console exclusive.

Venture kid is an 8-bit retro-action platformer that goes beyond just the pixels and chiptunes. The beautiful level design, the entertaining action levels and a very diverse mix of bosses.
Back in the golden age of Cartridge games, the development team fell in love with the somewhat limited games made by small teams. At that moment it all seemed like magic on the limited hardware.
Many video game heroes were born and FDG Entertainment wants to revive the old genre with this game. So grab your controller, blow the dust off your D-Pad and travel back in time. Your mission: the bad Dr. Stop Teklov, who is almost finished building his secret weapon, hidden in his gigantic space station. Time is scarce, but our hero Andy will do everything to stop Teklov’s evil plans.
The game contains nine action-packed levels with bosses, a chiptune soundtrack by Matt Creamer (Retro City Rampage), eight unique and helpful Power-Ups that will help you on your journey and many secret places that you can explore.
There is no release date yet known for the Nintendo Switch version.
