Nintendo Switch Online, the paid online service for Nintendo’s Switch, seems to have been delayed. That is made clear on the Nintendo Italy website.
It was originally intended that this service would be introduced at the endof 2017 but it soon became clear that this could not be achieved. Then it long remained silent and now it appears that we can still keep using the online options of the Nintendo Switch.
The reason
What the exact reason for the delay is that is still unclear. It is of course nice that can still make use of the online services for free. But that will provide Nintendo the necessary time to come up with an appropriate reason AND finally give a clear interpretation of what the service entails.

Let’s face it, we still know very little. We especially want to know what is scheduled for the Virtual Console of the Nintendo Switch.
