Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack’s overview trailer received a large amount of dislikes on Youtube, much higher than a normal Nintendo announcement.
The amount of dislikes on the trailer has been increasing and it became Nintendo’s most disliked Youtube video of all time with already well over 102K dislikes against 17K likes.
For some comparison, Nintendo’s previous most disliked video was the 2015 trailer for Metroid Prime: Federation Force, which has 96,000 dislikes and 11,000 likes.
Expansion pass issues
Between the release of the trailer and for the service itself, the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack has come under fire for a variety of issues, ranging from fans feeling that the amount of content is not worth its asking price, to criticisms that many of the games are plagued with technical / emulation problems and do not match up with existing emulation efforts but also to the extent that the button mapping is crazy.

In short the expansion service is of to a somewhat rocky start, but if datamines are to believed more content is coming. And Nintendo might just resolve the button mapping issue in an update, as well as maybe fix the emulation issues.
