Nintendo has recently made the announcement that the next game for the Game Boy Advance will be Metroid Fusion, which will be available on Nintendo Switch Online. On March 8, 2023, it will be accessible to all members of the Expansion Pack tier who have purchased it.
The first version of Metroid Fusion was released in 2002; in fact, it landed on the market at the same time as Metroid Prime. The 2D Metroid series has reached its fourth installment with this game.
About Metroid Fusion
Samus Aran, an interplanetary bounty hunter, is ambushed by an X parasite when she is investigating the enigmatic planet SR388 in the video game Metroid Fusion. Not only is this organism lethal, but it also has the ability to imitate the powers of any creature that it infects, even Samus herself! She was brought back from the edge of death by an injection of Metroid DNA, which is the sole natural predator of the X parasite. However, she soon learned that the X infection had spread to the research station that orbits SR388, putting her life in danger once again. The Nintendo Switch Online service will eventually get more Game Boy Advance games. Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, Fire Emblem, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, and Golden Sun are some of the other games that will be released in the near future.
