Wave Race 64 will be the next N64 game to join Nintendo Switch Online. Starting August 19, 2022, people who have access to the Expansion Pack tier can start playing.
About Wave Race 64
Wave Race 64 is a racing game that came out soon after the Nintendo 64 came out in 1996. Each of the four watercraft racers has its own skills and style, and players can choose one of them to try to win the Championship Mode, get the fastest time in Time Trials, do tricks in Stunt Mode, or race against a friend in 2P VS. Mode.
Wave Race 64 has nine difficult courses set in beautiful places. Go flying with dolphins on the golden shores of Sunset Bay, cruise under the bright lights and tall buildings of Twilight City, feel the crashing waves on Sunny Beach, or chill out on the cold waters of Glacier Coast, just to name a few. Also, the weather can make the water rough or cover the course with fog, which can change how the race is run. The waves will even change based on how you and your opponents move.
On Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, you can play a number of other N64 games. These games include Mario Kart 64, F-Zero X, Mario Golf, Pokemon Snap, and more.
