About Nintendo Switch Sports

With Nintendo Switch Sports, a collection of sports games for Nintendo Switch, you can swing, kick, and spike your way to victory.

You can compete in six sports, such as volleyball, football, and bowling, by moving your body in the same way you would in real life.

Rally in tennis by swinging the Joy-Con controller gently at the right time.

When bowling, you can roll the ball straight ahead or make it curve a bit.

Chambara: When you attack or defend, knock your opponent off the platform.

Use a big ball to make exciting plays in football. Use the Joy-Con controllers to play matches and shoot and do Diving Headers. Attaching a Joy-Con controller to the Leg Strap accessory (which is sold separately) lets you play Shoot-out mode by kicking in a natural way.

Badminton: Keep the shuttlecock in the air while you control your shots to the left and right. Keep the shuttlecock in the air by moving it left and right. Smash the ball hard to get the upper hand.

Volleyball: You can serve, bump, set, and spike the ball with a Joy-Con controller.

You can play with family and friends in person or online, or you can play against people from all over the world. You can make your avatar look the way you want by collecting items as you play online games. There are also lots of other ways to have fun, like trying out your skills in the Pro League, where you can try to move up in rank by winning in the different sports.

In the summer and fall, two free software updates are set to come out. When the first update comes out this summer, you’ll be able to use a Joy-Con controller and the Leg Strap accessory to play football games. In the second update, which will come out this fall, Golf will be added as a new sport.
