Nintendo Switch Sports version 1.2.3 patch notes

Version 1.2.3 of Nintendo Switch Sports has begun to be roll out, marking the second weekly update to the game.

For those who aren’t up to speed, Nintendo’s fixes this week are meant to fix problems that appeared with version 1.2.1. That upgrade was mainly meant to combat cheaters. However, after installing version 1.2.1, some gamers started to experience crashing problems. Online servers were even pulled down for a few days as a result of the issues.

Bug Fix

Players who were unable to remedy the problem of the program shutting even after installing the last version now have a patch (Ver. 1.2.2).

Some players may discover that the order of “Accessories (head)” in “Customize” has changed with the update. Playing the game won’t be impacted by this.

Due to the recent problems, Switch Online memberships for anyone who have played Nintendo Switch Sports and are now members will be extended by one week. Later, further details will be provided. In addition, all sports’ “Play Globally” point totals are doubled from October 17 to November 2. Last but not least, a solution to allow players to claim any awards they may have missed out on is in the works. We’ll let you know as soon as we have more details on that front.

The new version 1.2.3 update for Nintendo Switch Sports is now available for download by all Nintendo Switch users. For this holiday, there will be another update that will introduce golf.
