About ONI: Road to be the Mightiest Oni

ONI: Road to be the Mightiest Oni, the newest project from up-and-coming developer Kenei Design, was featured on the most recent Nintendo Indie World show. ONI: Road to be the Mightiest Oni is a 3D action game with roots in Japanese mythology. The game tells the narrative of Kuuta, the only survivor of the battle of Onigashima, and his journey as he competes against the departed souls of demon warriors in a series of challenges. His goal is to work on increasing his physical stamina. His ultimate objective is to vanquish Momotaro, a creature who is part human and half monster…

In the video game ONI: Road to be the Mightiest Oni, a demon named Kuuta (which means “sky” in Japanese) and his companion Kazemaru (which means “wind”) relate the story of sky and wind setting off on an island adventure.
