Before, Night School Studio announced OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, the official sequel to its story-driven adventure game OXENFREE for Nintendo Switch. It looks like people who liked the first game will have to wait a little longer to play this one.

The game’s release date has been pushed back to 2023 because the company wants to use the extra time to make OXENFREE II: Lost Signals “truly special and add more localizations.” Here’s what the development team said in full:

“We have a great community, and we owe it to them to make OXENFREE II: Lost Signals the best game it can be. When we see your fan art, read your excited comments, and talk to you, it makes us want to make this game the best one we’ve ever made. We’re moving the release date to 2023 so we can make OXENFREE II truly unique and add more localizations.

About OXENFREE II: Lost Signals

TVs can be turned on and off. Planes lose radar. Static makes it impossible for radio stations to send out signals.
