Bandai Namco has given us another look at Pac-Man World Re-Pac by showing us the opening movie for the game.
Even though the first Pac-Man World also had an opening movie, this new version is not a remake of the first one and has almost all new scenes.

Fill your hunger for excitement! In Pac-Man World Re-Pac, when Pac-Man gets home on his birthday, he finds that the Ghosts have taken his family and friends hostage and ruined his party. Pac-Man has to go on an adventure through the six areas of Ghost Island to save his family and friends and fight the boss of the ghosts, Toc-Man. Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a fun action/platforming game for both longtime Pac-fans and people who have never played the game before. It has improved graphics, better gameplay, and new features.

- Multiple Modes: In Quest Mode, you can play the main campaign, and in Maze Mode, you can play a collection of 3D mazes. If you beat Quest Mode, you can play Pac-Man in Original Mode.
- A World of Adventures – In the 6 areas of Ghost Island, you have to avoid ghosts and other bad guys, solve environmental puzzles, and collect items. Each area has multiple levels and a unique boss battle challenge.
- He Knows How to Move – Pac-Man will do more than just run and chomp his way through the six levels. He will also butt-bounce, rev-roll, hover jump, and do other things as he collects Pac-Dots, fruit, and power-ups.
The Nintendo Switch will get Pac-Man World Re-Pac on August 26, 2022.
