PixelBot Extreme is scheduled to make its debut on the Nintendo Switch later on this month. The game’s publisher, FusionPlay, and the developer, PlayHeart Games, made the announcement that the launch date of the game would be January 25, 2023.

The game consists of 25 hand-crafted stages that players navigate by running, sliding, and flying across while blasting adversaries with color-coded weaponry. Only the red rockets will be effective against the red opponents, the green rockets against the green foes, and so on. The gameplay is reminiscent of a hybrid between a classic shoot ’em up and a rhythm game, in which players are required to hit the appropriate button at the appropriate time in order to get the desired tone.
The fact that the game now has a new home on the Switch makes it more portable and simple to enjoy with a companion. The local cooperative mode may accommodate up to two players and does not inherently provide a lower difficulty level than the single-player mode. Because each player is responsible for a different set of colored rockets, the two players have to work together in order to have any chance of escaping the bullet hell.
