Pocky & Rocky Reshrined – Japan – April release date

At least in Japan, Pocky & Rocky Reshrined has a release date. Natsume Atari announced that the game will be released in the area on April 21. Famitsu, a Japanese magazine, broke the story today. The game will have fresh material in this week’s edition, including a look at Yoshitoo Asari’s characters and new gaming modes.

About Pocky & Rocky Reshrined

Pocky & Rocky recounts the exploits of Pocky, a young Shinto shrine girl, and Rocky, a raccoon, as they strive to rescue a collection of animals known as the Nopino Goblins. The game is played from the top down and includes both single-player and cooperative modes.

Rocky and Pocky Reshrined is a follow-up to Pocky & Rocky, also known in Japan as the Kiki Kaikai action-shooting game series, which debuted in 1986 as an arcade game from Taito Corporation and is being developed under license from the company.

Pocky & Rocky Reshrined will also be available on Nintendo Switch in the west this year, but no specific date has been set.
