About Pokemon Puzzle League
The puzzle game came out for the Nintendo 64 in 2000, just before the GameCube came out the following year. Pokemon Puzzle League is played the same way as Panel de Pon, but the trainers and gym leaders are like the ones from the original Pokemon games Red, Blue, and Yellow.

In this new kind of Pokémon battle, you’ll have to use your strongest Pokémon to go up against the best Trainers in Puzzle League Village. To do well at Pokémon Puzzle League, you need fast fingers and an even faster brain. True Pokémon Puzzle Masters will find many ways to play the game, but the basic idea is to destroy puzzle pieces by matching up three or more blocks of the same color.
The more puzzle pieces you get rid of at once, the more points you get. When you battle another Trainer, you can send powerful attacks to their puzzle board by making big Combos and Skill Chains. If you can’t get rid of your pile of puzzle pieces before they reach the top of the screen, you can’t win. As you move through Puzzle League Village, you’ll find many challenges, from the fun 3D Puzzle Mode to the tough puzzles at Pokémon Puzzle University. The best way to enjoy Pokémon Puzzle League is to go on an adventure with a friend. Pokémon battles between two people are so intense and full of action that you might forget to breathe.
