About Pokemon Scarlet/Violet
In the Paldea Region, a huge country filled with lakes, towering peaks, wastelands, tiny villages, and enormous cities, you may catch, fight, and train Pokemon. Because there is no predefined route, you may freely explore three epic storylines. In one such scenario, you may battle Pokemon Gyms in whatever sequence you like as you work your way up to Champion! Riding atop the form-shifting Legendary Pokemon Koraidon, you may explore a vast open world at your own speed, traversing land, sea, and air. Before starting on your trip through Paldea, choose either Sprigatito, Fuecoco, or Quaxly as your initial companion Pokemon.
Pokemon in the Paldea area may Terastallize to obtain unique abilities. When a Pokemon Terastallizes, a Tera Jewel emerges like a crown over its head, and the Pokémon’s body glistens like a cut diamond. Every Pokemon has a Tera Type that is dormant until the Pokemon Terastallizes. Most Eevee, for example, will have a Normal Tera Type, but some Eevee will have a Flying Tera Type! When a Terastallized Pokemon employs a move that matches its Tera Type and at least one of its original types, its strength is increased even more! Terastallizing determines whether a fight is won or lost in the Paldea area.
The Paldea Region is home to a prominent school where individuals from all over the world come to compete against one another in academics or Pokemon fights. Depending on whether you play Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet, the name of the school, its logo, uniforms, and other features will alter. Take lessons from various professors that will educate you about fighting, Pokemon biology, and other topics. Begin an independent study called the Treasure Hunt to obtain new experiences, meet new people, and discover your own treasure.
Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet will be released on November 18, 2022 for the Nintendo Switch.
