Pokemon Scarlet/Violet – Terastal phenomenon, Tera Raid Battles

The Pokemon Company has given information about the Terastal phenomenon and Tera Raid Battles. These are important parts of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet.

Terastal phenomenon

Only in the Paldea region does this happen, and it makes Pokemon shine and sparkle like gems. When a Pokemon Terastallizes, a Tera Jewel appears like a crown on top of its head. It shines like a cut gemstone.

We know that all Pokemon can Terastallize to get special powers. With Terastallization, players can improve their battle strategies by making moves with the same type as their Pokemon’s Tera Type more powerful. With 18 types, Pokemon and Tera Types can be put together in a lot of different ways.

A Pokemon can Terastallize once per battle, and the change will last until the battle is over. To start the process, the Pokemon needs a Tera Orb. After each use, the orb will need to be charged by touching a Terastal-filled crystal or going to a Pokemon Center.

Terra Raid Battles

In Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, Terra Raid Battles happen when three other players work together to take on a wild Pokemon that has been Terastallized. You can fight together in Tera Raid Battle, and then you can choose to find allies or join someone else’s raid, which you can do with a Link Code. Terra Raid Battles last for a certain amount of time, and players can keep attacking without having to wait for other Trainers to decide what to do.
