The release date for the next playable Pokemon in Pokemon Unite has been confirmed by the Pokemon Company. On April 8th, 2022, the Water/Fairy type Azumarill will be released as an All-Rounder Pokemon in Pokemon Unite.
About Azumarill
Azumarill is a bipedal Pokémon with an ovoid body that is blue in color. Its bottom half is white, with a white, bubble-like design above it to assist it blend in with the water. It features round eyes and extended rabbit-like ears with scarlet insides. When it’s in the water, it folds up its ears to keep the insides dry. It has small, rounded arms and feet with no apparent digits. It features a zigzagging black tail with a bubble-like blue tip. When it fights or is agitated, the tip of its tail glows.
Azumarill’s hearing is highly developed, allowing it to hear distances even while it is submerged. It can identify prey even in wild, fast-moving rivers by remaining calm and listening carefully. When Azumarill sees a Pokémon who is drowning, it will create a balloon out of air to assist them breathe, or when Azurill are playing near rivers, it will make a balloon out of air to help them breathe. It lives in rivers and lakes and may spend the whole day in the water.
