The Pokemon Company has published a video showcasing the upcoming new playable Pokemon for Pokemon Unite.
Buzzwole will enter the lineup as a playable character on August 3, 2022, as previously promised. The video provides a deeper look at the formidable Ultra Beast’s combat maneuvers and abilities.
About Buzzwole
Buzzwole is an Ultra Beast that seems to be a gigantic, humanoid mosquito. It has a short, flat head with a central black ridge. It has two red compound eyes separated by two black spherical antennal base joints for its red and black antennas. Under these joints protrudes a long, silvery proboscis. It features several bulging muscles that seem to be filled with crimson fluid including little white bubbles.
There are three sacs on each arm, two sacs on each leg, two sacs on its chest, and a number of sacs on its shoulders and back. It has three rings of tiny sacs around its waist. There are thin, grey lines resembling tendons going through the chest, some arm, and waist muscles of the creature. It has four pointed legs and big, five-fingered hands with scarlet knuckles.
It has a little spike on each side of its skull, two on each shoulder, one on each elbow, and one on each leg. Between its muscles, the sections of its body are dark crimson or black. Two pairs of pale orange wings with somewhat darker veins are located on its back.
According to Wicke of the Aether Foundation, its capacity to strengthen itself is its most significant characteristic. By piercing its proboscis into an opponent, it is able to absorb the opponent’s energy. This, in turn, generates a chemical reaction inside its bodily fluids that allows its muscles to expand at a rapid pace, boosting its already impressive strength.
Buzzwole seems to make bodybuilding postures prior to doing any activity. This is believed to be its primary mode of communication, although what it may be attempting to convey is unknown.
