Pokemon Unite – Goodra is coming March 16th 2023

The Pokémon Company has revealed the name of the newest Pokemon that will be available in Pokemon Unite.

On March 16, 2023, players will be able to add the Dragon-type Pokémon Goodra to their rosters. The fact that it would be a Defender Pokemon was disclosed in the announcement; however, official video of its techniques and abilities has not yet been made available. Having said that, we are aware from the preview that it is the standard version of Goodra and not the Hisuian variety.

About Goodra

Goodra is a kind of draconic Pokémon that walks on two legs and is covered in slime. The majority of its body is a light purple color, while the underside is a deeper shade of purple. It has brilliant green eyes, two green spots on each cheek, a comparatively long neck, and a tiny, rounded nose in contrast to its relatively long neck. It has two sets of horns that look like antennae perched on top of its skull. Nevertheless, the back horns are much longer, much thicker, and curve down the animal’s neck. The front horns are just little nubs. The tips of the bigger horns are curved inwards just a little bit. It has proportionately short limbs, each of which has two fingers, as well as a huge, thick tail that is coiled at the tip. There are three green dots running down either side of its tail. In most cases, one may see a whitish-green slime trickling from its chin and limbs. It is widely recognized for having a strong love for water, being able to live inside water with no problems at all, as well as surf and dive all around the surrounding region.

Goodra is often mocked for what is seen to be its weakness due to the fact that it is mild-mannered and pleasant. It is well knowledge that Goodra has an outgoing personality. As it gets near to a person, it will embrace that person and cover them with slime before moving on. It will weep sticky tears if it is allowed to be left alone. In most cases, Goodra fails to comprehend the directions, giving the impression that she is confused. In spite of this, a good number of Trainers don’t mind it and, in fact, find this behavior to be rather endearing. Nonetheless, it will fight back with horns that can retract and a strong tail to defend itself from its attackers. When Goodra loses her cool, she can no longer be controlled. The blow delivered by the horns may be one hundred times more powerful than that delivered by a heavyweight fighter. Also, it is able to hurl punches with an extraordinary amount of power. Attacks have a tendency to slip off of it because of its sticky covering and the layer of fat that covers it. During the wetter months of the year, Goodra makes her home in the highlands and plains.

The eyes of a Hisuian Goodra are droopy and gray, and the animal has horns that are longer and thinner than those of a Kalosian Goodra. It has a big metallic shell in the form of a spiral on its back, which it can tuck its body inside to defend itself, leaving just its head outside the shell to watch its surroundings. This allows it to survive in hostile environments. It is able to adjust the level of toughness of its shell at will. It has one gray mark on each side of its face and two gray spots on each side of its shell, making it seem to have less gray spots overall than the Kalosian Goodra. A metallic gray slime may be seen dripping from its chin and arms. Hisuian Goodra is a clinging creature that abhors being by itself and has a strong aversion to being alone. If its closest pals leave its side, it will grow furious and cause a riot.

There is only one Pokémon known to be able to learn the move Shelter, and that is Hisuian Goodra and all of its previous evolutions.
