Next month, City Connection will release a unique collection of Puzzle Bobble and Bust a Move games, which it has stated it has been working on. This collection will be available on the Nintendo Switch as well as other platforms.
About Puzzle Bobble and Bust a Move collections
Fans will be able to play ports of the arcade games Puzzle Bobble 2X and Puzzle Bobble 3, as well as the four home console versions released in both Japan and the west with added original modes along with the handy rewind feature, quick save features, and more. Fans will also be able to play the four home console versions released in Japan.
Beginning on Thursday, February 2nd, a selection of classic puzzle games will be available for purchase in the eShop for Nintendo Switch.
Included Modes
- Home console ports of the Japanese and foreign versions of the arcade games Puzzle Bobble 2 and Puzzle Bobble 2X. These games are known as the “Arcade Editions” of Puzzle Bobble 2X and BUST-A-MOVE 2 Arcade Edition, respectively (one or two players).
- The home console ports of the Japanese and international versions of the arcade game Puzzle Bobble 3 are known as the Arcade Editions of Puzzle Bobble 3 and BUST-A-MOVE 3, respectively (one or two players).
- In the Challenge Mode, you have to fulfill specific requirements in order to complete the levels (Puzzle Bobble 3 and BUST-A-MOVE 3).
- Play a total of 1,026 levels that were developed by players from the time period in the Collection Mode (Puzzle Bobble 3).
- In the Puzzle Bobble 2X and BUST-A-MOVE 2 Arcade Editions, there is a mode called Edit Mode that allows you to construct your own levels by placing bubbles in the playing area.
Convenient Functions and Customizable Options That Can Only Be Found in the S-Tribute
- Rewind lets you go back in time during gaming by a specified length of time, then continue where you left off.
- The Slow Mode may be used with a single button click, and it will slow the speed of the game down.
- The Quick Save / Load feature allows the game state to be saved at any time.
- Unlimited Credits – The player has the option to deactivate the restriction on the number of continues, which enables the player to have a limitless amount of continues.
- Scan Lines is an effect that simulates the dated CRT monitor display.
