Redemption Reapers was unveiled by publisher Binary Haze Interactive and developer Adglobe. Nintendo Switch will get the game on February 23, 2023.
An RPG with a dark fantasy theme is called Redemption Reapers. The project has some top-notch talent on board, including tactical RPG guru Masayuki Horikawa (director and scenario/level designer for the Fire Emblem series; Kingdom Hearts III planning). Kyle McCarley (Nier: Automata, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim), Allegra Clark (Apex Legends, Dragon Age: Inquisition), David Lodge (Persona 5), Lucien Dodge (Final Fantasy XV), and (Fire Emblem: Three Houses, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel series).
About Redemption Reapers
Following the abrupt advent of the brutal Mort army, hope begins to erode across the realm. The macabre forces strike civilizations with efficiency and brutality, leaving ruins in the wake of their nightly attacks. The Ashen Hawk Brigade, a group of mercenaries skilled in surprise attacks, joins together to fight back against the invading legions as whole countries succumb to the Mort assault.
On 3D maps, command the Ashen Hawk Brigade in tactical battles. Use tactical maneuvers to move forces across the battlefield before giving orders to attack, defend, or use skills each round. Learn stealth attacks for increased damage or strong combination strikes from numerous Brigade members to overcome apparently overwhelming odds.
Equip the group with tough gear to make sure every member of the Brigade is prepared for the challenges that lie ahead. To acquire battle talents that may transform a motley band of underdogs into valiant fighters, upgrade your skills.
Cut through the Mort to reveal a compelling, adult tale of wartime tribulations. During fully spoken sequences (recorded in both English and Japanese audio), you can see the Brigade members interact and experience poignant moments as they come to understand one another and the world around them. As members of the Ashen Hawk Brigade struggle with their dark history as a deadly—and despised—organization known as “Faithless Reapers,” you may see them ascend from obscurity to folk heroes.
