Risen is now available to play on the Nintendo Switch thanks to THQ Nordic, and the company has released a new teaser that gives us a peek at the game running on Nintendo’s device. This is the very first time that the title has been made available on a Nintendo console.

A mystery island with a volcano, the island of Faranga is known for its strong earthquakes, which portend poorly for the people who live there. Strange monsters have sprung from the earth with the resurrected ruins of ancient temples, which have caused widespread panic in the surrounding region. Concern and hysteria are rapidly spreading across the general populace. – Is there no more room for optimism? An influential organization that calls itself “The Inquisitors” has made putting a stop to these occurrences their mission in life. They launch an expedition to Faranga; however, a violent storm overtakes the ship and causes it to sink while it is still out at sea. – One day, a hero will appear: You were fortunate enough to escape the shipwreck, but now you find yourself all alone on the volcanic island. You discover that you are in the middle of a revolt, a tyrannical regime, and some mysterious rites. You are the one who will choose the direction in which the pendulum of destiny will swing.
