About Severed Steel

The Nintendo Switch version will have all of the main game material included in the PC version, including Campaign, Firefight, and New Game Plus modes, 42 levels, 27 weapons, 5 arm cannons, and 22 game changing mutators. However, it will not have the level editor. The game will be available both physically and digitally via the eShop.

Severed Steel is a single-player first-person shooter with a fluid stunt system, destructible voxel backgrounds, plenty of bullet time, and a one-armed protagonist. It’s just you, your trigger finger, and a steel-toed boot against a bad guy-infested superstructure. Combine wall runs, dives, flips, and slides to eliminate every single adversary.

Features

  • A one-of-a-kind fighter: Play as Steel, a quick-thinking, one-armed sniper on a quest. There is no reloading – choose your shots carefully and be prepared to wrench a loaded weapon from your adversaries’ cold dead hands
  • Stylish combat: dodge bullets, jump over walls, slide kick, toss weapons – do whatever it takes to win in fierce and furious firefights.
  • Environment that is completely destructible: Use sharp 4.7 mm bullets to pepper through plaster,.50 cal slugs to pound through strong concrete, or your arm cannon to create large holes in anything.
  • Dynamic AI: Because to dynamic, unscripted, squad-based AI, no two fights are the identical.
  • Firefight Game: In this arcade-styled mode, chase high scores and quick timings for leaderboard glory. There are 42 stages, each with its own set of sub-challenges, and over 20 unlocked, game-changing ‘Mutators.’
  • Campaign Mode: Combat your way through six short narrative chapters as you battle the troops of the sinister mega-corporation, EdenSys – Accessibility: A variety of changeable options for aspects such as difficulty, graphics, audio, controls, navigation, and more.

Severed Steel will be released for Nintendo Switch on July 21.
