We now have confirmation that a physical version of Shinobi non Grata is planned, in addition to the news that the game will be coming to Nintendo Switch. Flyhigh Works, Studio Pico, and Esquadra are the creative forces behind the future project.
Strictly Limited Games is going to be in charge of the physical versions of the classic platformer game.
About Shinobi non Grata
It is the year 1838, the ninth year of the Tenp era, and Japan is through a period of great upheaval. The chief of the Oboro Itt clan, Genba Kisaragi, forges an alliance with the demons with the intention of destroying the bakufu regime. Only one person, Kaina, who is the descendant of a lineage of shinobi that specialized in battling demons, has the courage to stand before them.
In this challenging 2D ninja action game, you’ll need your trusty blade Murasame if you want to make it through the slaughter. You will battle your way through swarms of foes by making use of the seven shinobi weapons at your disposal, such as the Shuriken, Kusarigama, and Elekiter.
Conquer the monster that awaits you at the conclusion of each of the many varied environments you explore, such as an abandoned shrine, a valley of ghosts, and a ninja mansion… Be careful however, since they won’t give up lightly.

The basic physical release of Shinobi non Grata for the Nintendo Switch will be restricted to 2,500 copies, while a Special Limited Edition will be limited to 1,500 units.
The latter comes with bonus materials such as the original music, an art folio, a pin, a sticker sheet, and a poster. Both of the physical editions will be available for pre-order via Strictly Limited Games on January 29 at 8 am Pacific Time, 11 am Eastern Time, 4 pm in the United Kingdom, and 5 pm in Europe. Copies will be sent out in the autumn.
