Story

Sonic’s new adventure starts as he , Amy and Tails go to the Starfall Islands in pursuit of Chaos Emeralds. As they reach the islands, their aircraft is struck by lightning and drawn through a spatial hole. Sonic is subsequently separated from his buddies and wakes in a strange, digital environment known as Cyber Space. He somehow escapes Cyber Space and arrives on Kronos Island, one of the Starfall Islands teeming with ancient ruins and dangerous foes. It is then Sonic’s responsibility to explore the Starfall Islands, recover his missing pals, and solve the mysteries that surround him.

Islands of Starfall

Kronos Island is the first island Sonic visits. Its landscape and climate include regular rain, enormous waterfalls, lush woods, mountains, and airborne floating towers. The remains strewn across the island seem to be the dwellings of the Koco, the island’s ancient occupants.

The Cyberspace

The ancient civilization of Starfall Islands created entrances to Cyber Space that may be found all across the globe. Sonic fans will solve puzzles and complete tasks to earn Portal Gears, which will allow them to enter Cyber Space levels that include the typical, fast-paced, speed running action platforming. They must accomplish the obstacles in each Cyber Space level in order to get Vault Keys and proceed in the game.

Platforming in open areas

Players may experience high-speed, open-zone action and participate with numerous activities on the island whenever and wherever they like. Exciting combat, riddles, side missions, Cyber Space, and chats with individuals around the island may be played in any sequence that suits your play style.

World of Games

Sonic Frontiers takes everything players know and love about classic Sonic games and builds on it, merging linear-level gameplay with open-zone platforming into a new, action-packed Sonic experience. Sonic has more space to move and investigate his surroundings than ever before, allowing him to change the area around him as he delves deeper into the secrets of Starfall Islands.

Battle system

Sonic’s fighting style is more thrilling and agile than ever. Players may fight intelligently by mixing attacks such as dodges, parries, counters, and more in different combinations to demonstrate fighting abilities gained during the game. If you prefer simpler action, the game also offers an Auto Mode where you may perform multiple attack combinations with a single button. The rapid and fluid battle style will appeal to all Sonic aficionados.

New Cyloop Capabilities

Sonic has a new skill called “Cyloop,” which allows him to create a band of light that mirrors Sonic’s tracks. Surround monsters, artifacts, and regions to discover their varied affects and unveil the Starfall Islands’ mysteries.

Puzzles

Throughout the ancient ruins of Starfall Islands, there are many riddles to complete. Completing each puzzle may result in items that boost Sonic’s strength and protection, uncover secret portions of the map, and enable new methods to travel the island at high speeds.

Play styles

When you initially start the game, you have the option of selecting one of two player control styles: Action Style or High Speed Style.
