Sonic Frontiers – Japanese trailer and details

Before the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie started in Japanese theaters, a short new trailer for Sonic Frontiers was shown to fans.

The trailer shows Sonic running around the open world of the game, and it says again that Sonic’s new 3D adventure should come out by the end of 2022. During Gamescom, which starts on Tuesday with the Opening Night show hosted by Geoff Keighley, we expect to see more footage of Sonic Frontiers.

Sonic Frontiers coming this winter?

Even though some fans want the game to be delayed, Sega says it will still come out this winter as planned. A new trailer is probably being kept under wraps until Gamescom, where it will be shown, but it looks like it may have already been leaked.

A Taiwanese store recently put up ads for the game and some related items. The game’s release date, November 15, was listed on the ads.

The information also talks about DLC, but it doesn’t say anything about whether this will be new levels, playable characters, or just cosmetic changes.

There is what looks like a poster of the game’s original artwork, with Sonic and some of his friends standing next to small grey creatures.

It’s not clear yet what role they could play in the game, but it looks like they’ll be allies or maybe even need to be saved, like how Sonic would save small animals in older games.
