Sonic Frontiers – SEGA is looking to improve the quality

SEGA said earlier this year that Sonic Frontiers will be delayed internally in order to increase quality. The firm evidently intended for it to be ready sooner, but wanted it to premiere in the finest possible condition.

SEGA emphasized quality once again while discussing the game at a recent financial results Q&A. When questioned whether the corporation establishes information such as goal scores for outlets such as Metacritic, the following response was given:

“We established internal objectives since the association between external assessment organization ratings and sales is significant in Europe and North America.” If the game receives a high score, it may become a must-buy game and maybe produce sales synergy, thus we are now working hard to enhance the game’s quality in preparation for its holiday season sales.”

Improving Sonic Frontiers

SEGA also said that it does not anticipate Sonic Frontiers to have a significant influence on the firm during this fiscal year since the game will be released in the second half of FY2023/3. However, since it will be a multiplatform international release, the firm sees promise, and Nintendo Switch “is continuing to do well worldwide.” SEGA also said that the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 film “has been a tremendous smash, and the stage of Sonic IP is growing one and two, so we believe we’ll be able to strive for even larger sales volume in the lifespan, starting from the next fiscal year onwards.”
