This massive new 3D Sonic game from the Sonic Team has had a lot of previews released. Given the overall reception to some of Sonic the Hedgehog’s prior 3D games, the bulk of the previews appear to be very enthusiastic about the title.
Many previewers expressed their interest in what they played and enjoyment of the feeling of discovery the game provided. The harshness and emptiness of the planet Sonic is exploring, as well as certain technical problems like severe pop-in, which is present on Sonic Frontiers’ PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S editions, seem to be the greatest complaints among previewers.
