Sonic Origins’ release date is quickly approaching, and therefore, additional information about the collection and its contents has been revealed. The newly introduced Story Mode in Sonic Origins allows you to repeat the first four Sonic games as an one continuous experience.
There is one major limitation, however, in that you may only play through this game as Sonic rather than Tails or Knuckles. According to the website Game Rant, the narrative mode would include all new animation entrances and endings, so “creating unique sequences for Tails and Knuckles’ considerably smaller pathways may not seem like a worthwhile endeavor to Sega.” Sonic Origins will be available on Nintendo Switch and other platforms on June 23rd.
