In the new Scorch Gorge stage of the upcoming Splatoon 3 game, which comes out on September 9 for the Nintendo Switch family of systems, the rocks rise up like chimneys.
They will also be used as backgrounds in the Nintendo booth at this year’s PAX West, which will be made to look like the sun-baked Splatlands from Splatoon 3. The Nintendo Splatoon 3 booth at PAX West in Seattle from September 2–5 will be a great place to splat in-game and take photos in real life.
Splatoon 3 Turf War
Before the full game comes out, PAX West attendees who want to jump into the world of Splatoon 3 will also be able to play a demo of multiplayer Turf War battles. In three minutes, many teams of four will try to mark the most turf on the map. Players who have played other games in the Splatoon series are also welcome to give this one a try. At the Nintendo Booth, you need a free Warp Pipe Pass to play Splatoon 3. Starting today, fans can sign up for a chance to get a free Warp Pipe Pass. Registration is now open at https://experience.nintendo.com and will end on August 28 at 11:59 p.m. PT.

This year’s PAX West will also be fun for players who like to compete and for people who like to watch friendly rivals fight. The winners of the Splatoon 2 Inkopolis Showdown 2022 tournament this summer have been invited to Seattle to compete in the first-ever Splatoon 3 invitational in North America on September 5 at the PAX Arena.
On September 5, PAX West will also host the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Championship Cup 2022 invitational. Twelve of the best racers from this summer’s Mario Kart North American Open will compete to see who is the fastest. Both tournaments will be livestreamed on YouTube and Twitch, which are both owned by Nintendo.
