The release of Star Wars: Hunters has been pushed back for a second time. It is now set to come out in 2023.
The game was first said to be coming to Switch in February 2021, during a Nintendo Direct. It was supposed to come out later this year, but the release date was moved to 2022 in September.
Star Wars: Hunters delay statement
“We are working hard to make Star Wars: Hunters what we want it to be. Our goal is to make a battle arena game that will keep people entertained for years to come. We’ve decided to delay the launch of Star Wars: Hunters around the world so that we can meet the high standards we’ve set for fans and for ourselves as developers.
When Star Wars: Hunters comes out in 2023 for the Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android, we want all gamers to join us on Vespaara.
We know that game delays are annoying, but our top goal is to make sure players have the best time possible in the Arena.
We really appreciate your help and feedback as we work to make Star Wars: Hunters the best it can be. We’ll keep putting out new content updates in soft launch regions until we launch everywhere. The next update will come in the next few weeks.

About Star Wars: Hunters
In STAR WARS: Hunter, players will be able to connect with each other in real time and fight in places that look like famous STAR WARS locations. In an action game set in a fast-paced and beautiful STAR WARS galaxy, players will join squads of brand-new and authentic characters, such as brave Bounty Hunters, heroes of the Rebellion, and Imperial stormtroopers.
Star Wars: Hunters won’t be out until sometime in 2023, but Zynga hasn’t said much more than that.
