Encourage new residential levels to take part in the mission to go deeper, uncover incredible wealth, and eventually assist them in fleeing the planet by providing the necessary assistance.

SteamWorld Build has been created concurrently for both personal computers and consoles. This has ensured that the game’s design, user experience, and user interface all function well when a player is using a controller rather than a mouse and keyboard. The game offers a user-friendly interface and mechanics that are meant to appeal to both experienced gamers and newbies to the city builder genre. Additionally, the game provides players with the option to choose from three different difficulty levels.

Regarding the announcement that was made today, the director of the SteamWorld Universe and franchise, Brjánn Sigurgeirsson, had the following to say: “When The Station joined Thunderful in 2020 and told us that they wanted to make a city builder, we thought it offered a great opportunity for SteamWorld and Thunderful to move into another new genre. Because of their experience creating for LittleBigPlanet, which had crossovers with God of War and Dark Souls as well as a great many other IPs, they are familiar with what it is like to work on major IPs. After spending a significant amount of time being hooked into the incredible gameplay cycle that they’ve established between aboveground city-building and subsurface mining, I can honestly say that I’m incredibly pleased of what they’ve accomplished inside the SteamWorld environment.

“Having the chance to work on an award-winning brand that is adored by fans was a genuine pleasure for us,” noted The Station producer Adam Vassee. “Having the opportunity to work on an award-winning franchise” We have put in a lot of work to ensure that the game maintains the pleasant flavor of past entries, but we also have the good fortune that the SteamWorld series is all about experimenting with new ideas. This has given us the freedom to put our own spin on SteamWorld and the city builder genre, which has allowed us to create a game system that is intuitive and reminiscent of Anno meets Dungeon Keeper, which we believe is unlike anything else that is currently available.
