XSEED and Marvelous announced that Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town Version 1.0.4 is now live on the Nintendo Switch.
Version 1.0.4 further optimises the game to improve loading times, which many players have expressed concerns about. While this update results in a longer loading time when the application is first launched, it will decrease loading times when moving between maps in-game.

- Shortens loading times in general
- Fixes an animation when making a “Special Prayer” at the shrine
- Fixes an issue where save data could become corrupted after animals are born
- Fixes an issue where the game could freeze after the child adoption event
- Fixes an issue that created infinite items under certain conditions
- Adds a language settings menu under “Options” in the game’s title screen
- Other minor bug fixes
XSEED and Marvelous have also provided information about the next update for Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town which is Version 1.0.5.
