Earlier this month, the release date of Super Chariot went from ‘somewhere this year’ to ‘sometime in May’. Recently the final date was announced.
This two-dimensional platformer was previously available on the WiiU, among others. The version that appears for the Nintendo Switch is the same version but will include the Royal Gadget Pack DLC by default.
About Super Chariot
In Super Chariot you take on the role of a brave princess or her fiancé. In various underground levels you try to take the coffin of her deceased father to his final resting place. You can use different objects.
The game will be fully playable in single player mode but is perfect for the shared Joy-Con option. Both players use a Joy-Con and each play one of the two characters. Both the singeplayer and multiplayer options are both playable in handheld and docked mode.
Trailer Super Chariot
On May 10th you can download this game from the Nintendo eShop. The game will be just under 500MB. There will also be a physical release of the game. In addition to the game, it will also contain a download code for the soundtrack of the game. Whether the physical release is the same day is not yet known.
However, developer Microid has indicated that a demo will appear in the short term. This demo will contain the entire first three levels of the game.
