Super Dungeon Maker, described as “an charming 2D pixel art dungeon-crawler meets level-designer mash-up” by developer FIRECHICK, will be released on Nintendo Switch later this year.
About Super Dungeon Maker
Super Dungeon Maker is a game inspired by Super Mario Maker in which you build and construct pixel art-style dungeons that you can then share with others online. Players will be able to use a broad range of levels, monsters, equipment, and bosses in the game, which will also have support for competitive statistics such as completion times and rates for the game’s online community.
While there isn’t a “typical” single-player campaign in Super Dungeon Maker, the tale goes like this: long ago, when the bird goddess created the country, she left behind strange eggs holding magical items that her students would utilize to improve their lives for centuries. The ancient birds constructed huge temples and prisons to respect and safeguard these items. The relics’ wisdom faded with time, but succeeding generations continued the custom of creating new dungeons and investigating old ones. In the game, you’ll play as Fink, a little but courageous chicken whose bravery inspires them to do the noble duty of cleaning dungeons and inventing new ones when the need arises.
