Also during the 35th Anniversary Mario direct, Nintendo announced that Super Mario 3D World is heading towards Nintendo Switch.
Originally launched for the WiiU in 2013, Super Mario 3D World will be releasing on Switch as Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury on February 12th 2021. Judging from the trailer, it seems that it will include some additional content, although the exact nature remains unclear.

You can even play using gyro controls!
As well as local co-op play with up to three friends, players can now enjoy online multiplayer mayhem*!
Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury launches for Nintendo Switch on Feb. 12, 2021. New amiibo figures Cat Mario and Cat Peach will also be released at the same time as the game.
