Super Mario Maker 2 for the 2019 has received an update to version 3.0.2. Everyone can download it right now.

Similar to the recently released update for Splatoon 2, Super Mario Maker 2’s patch notes are straightforward. The sole statement made by Nintendo is that “a number of problems have been resolved to enhance the gaming experience.” The fact that a few of Nintendo’s older games received updates at the same time raises the possibility that there is more going on here, but the Big N seems unwilling to go into more detail.
Version 3.0.1 of Super Mario Maker 2 was the most recent update, which was published in July 2020. The major goal of the patch was to modify Course World. For the most recent significant upgrade, version 3.0.0, which includes new Course Parts, World Maker, Super Worlds, and more, you must travel back to April 2020.
Currently, Super Mario Maker 2 and the most recent 3.0.2 update are available on the Switch.
