Super Mario Party, the first Mario Party for Nintendo Switch, has achieved yet another sales milestone. This time in Japan.

According to the Media Create charts, Super Mario Party lifetime sales are now at 1,007,947 copies at retail. This makes Super Mario Party the third bestselling Mario Party game to date in Japan, just behind Mario Party 8Â which released on the Nintendo Wii and sold 1.4 million and Mario Party DS, for (duhh) the Nintendo DS and sold 2.1 million.
While this of course is great news, we still think the game could do better IF Nintendo improved the online aspect and came out with DLC boards. What are your ideas on that?
