About Tactics Ogre: Reborn

Tactics Ogre, the crown gem of tactical role-playing games, has been revived!

Based on the 2010 edition, the game has enhanced visuals, music, and game design, bringing to life a new Tactics Ogre that stays loyal to its beginnings.

Key features

  • A tactical role-playing game simulating the conflict for the Valerian Isles.
  • With a gaming engine that permits various pathways through the game and different endings, your decisions influence how the narrative develops and even how it concludes. The narrative is told from the perspective of a young guy called Denam. His choices will affect the destinies of people around him and change the path of Valeria’s history.
  • Engage in tactical combat on three-dimensional battlefields. The newly overhauled AI allows foes to adjust their tactics to the environment, resulting in a combat system that never gets old and constantly keeps you thinking.
  • In Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together (2010), the class-wide level management system has been replaced by a unit-by-unit level structure. Theorycraft your way through an infinite number of combinations of classes, equipment, and abilities.
  • Numerous gameplay enhancements, including a faster fight speed, auto-save, and a full reworking of the controls and user interface, making it simpler than ever to jump into the game.
  • Characters and scenery from the original 1995 version of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together have been meticulously rebuilt in high resolution.
  • The cutscenes are completely narrated in English and Japanese, and all music has been re-recorded with live performances! The voices breathe fresh life into the intricate motives of the individuals that comprise the factions and changing political alliances in this epic tale.
  • When you’ve progressed far enough in the game, you’ll acquire the World Tarot, allowing you to go back in time while maintaining the strength of your armies; an immensely handy ability in a game where your decisions have such a profound effect on how the plot develops. If you’ve ever wondered what might have happened had you made a different decision, you may finally find out!
  • The Chariot Tarot allows you to rewind up to a specific number of moves during combat, extending backwards travel beyond the confines of the plot. In a game with tactical fights in which a single error may be the difference between success and failure, you can play without fear of being cornered.
  • Enjoy an abundance of endgame stuff, such as the Palace of the Dead at level 100.
