Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival – version 1.2.2 and new DLC

Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival has received an update to version 1.2.2 from Bandai Namco. In addition, the Taiko Music Pass includes the most recent DLC tracks.

Version 1.2.2 update

Players experiencing the following difficulties while playing offline multiplayer game types have been resolved.

  • Affected game modes
    • Thunder Shrine > Begin Playing – 2 Player Offline Multiplayer
    • Taiko Land > DON-Chan Band – 2-4 Player Offline Multiplayer
    • Taiko Land > Great Drum Toy War – 2 Player Offline Multiplayer
  • Issues discovered
    • Certain elements of the save data for 2P to 4P users are inadvertently reset
    • Following that, errors were experienced while saving the game for 2P to 4P users.
    • Frame rate dips have been resolved for the following game modes: Taiko Mode, Great Drum Toy War, DON-Chan Band, Online Ranked Matches, and Online Room Match.
    • On the “This Month’s Ranking Rewards” panel, the proper Online Ranked Match event name has been changed to “Dondoko Matsuri.”
    • Improved game usability and general stability.

Prepare to beat the drum in time with Don-Chan! Join an incredible musical event, either alone or with company!

“Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival” will be released on the Nintendo Switch in 2022!

After a four-year absence, this fan favorite series returns with a slew of new features!

The popular “Sharing Joy-Con” and “Shaking” performance aspects from the previous release, “Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum’n Fun,” are supported by Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival.

Kumo-kyun, a new character, has been introduced, and the game has grown to include online combat, a party mode, and a music subscription service!

Taiko Style

Play Japanese Taiko along with your favorite music!

To fit your skill level, there are four difficulty levels to select from: “Easy,” “Normal,” “Hard,” and “Extreme.”

The compilation contains 76 tracks, including recent hits like “Gurenge,” “Feel Special,” and “Racing into the Night”! There are many ways to play the game, including “Handheld Mode,” “TV Mode,” “Sharing Joy-Con,” “Shaking,” “Touch Play,” and “Taiko Drum Set.”

Mode Online

The “Online Ranked Matches” feature enables you to match up with other players of a similar skill level, ensuring that you can always enjoy a furious fight!

Win Taiko bouts against gamers from across the globe to advance in rank!

You may change the rules and play with anybody in Online Room Match!

In “Don-chan Band,” up to four participants control distinct tones and collaborate to put on a successful live performance.

And in the “Great Drum Toy War,” you create your own deck of toys and compete!

Taiko Performance

Use this option to repeat song portions as many times as you like to enhance your drumming abilities!

You may personalize it as much as you like.

Playing different modes will earn you “Don Coins.” Use the money to purchase in-game things such as outfits and name plates!
