Talent Arts returning in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 DLC

Talent Arts returning in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 DLC

With the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 DLC pack releasing this Autumn, there’s plenty of chatter around returning features from the original Xenoblade game. During the Nintendo Treehouse stream, the company confirmed that Talent Arts would be returning for Torna: The Golden Country.

Talent Arts

If you’re familiar with the original game, you’ll know that Talent Arts were an interesting way to mix things up in battle. Using your Talent Art would activate a special ability, such as doing more damage by reducing your HP.

In Torna: The Golden Country every Driver and Blade will have their own unique Talent Art, primarily due to the fact that within the DLC you will be able to play as both a Driver and a Blade.

More playable characters

Another interesting tidbit was revealed during the stream, too. Ever since the unveiling of Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s Battle Challenge mode, fans have been wondering whether Shulk and Fiora will be playable in the main game.

Nintendo confirmed that they will be, providing you follow a set of specific in-game events or tasks.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna: The Golden Country will be released on September 14th for the Switch, available through the Expansion Pass or as a standalone game at retail.
