2.3.0 details

Tetris 99 is getting a fresh upgrade at an intriguing moment. Version 2.2.0 was released in April 2021, precisely a year after the last patch. It was notable because the update allowed users to use the Customize menu to swap some of their previously downloaded event themes (Special Themes) for game tickets. A few problems were also fixed. The entire patch notes for that update can be seen here.

The Tetris 99 version 2.3.0 update is now available to all players. You may either wait for it to install automatically or force it to download right away. On the Switch home menu, hover over the game icon, press the + button, go to the “Software Update” tab, and choose “Via the Internet.”
