  • Other small tweaks and bug fixes have been made.

KNOWN IN-GAME PROBLEMS (not exhaustive list):

[SWITCH] Setting the Nintendo Switch system clock to a future time and then uploading scores in online multiplayer, then resetting it, may prevent your online multiplayer scores from updating. When playing online multiplayer, do not modify the system clock.

About Tetris Effect: Connected

It’s all connected, whether you’re playing local multiplayer or online multiplayer, and it doesn’t matter where or how you play.

Tetris Effect: Connected is Tetris® as you’ve never seen, heard, or felt it before—an extremely addictive, original, and stunningly beautiful remake of one of the world’s most popular puzzle games, from the creators of the award-winning Rez Infinite and the famous puzzle game Lumines.

Everything in the game, from the music to the scenery to the noises to the special effects, pulses, dances, shimmers, and explodes in perfect harmony with how you’re playing, making any of the game’s 30+ levels and 10+ modes something you’ll want to play again and again.

Tetris Effect: The Game is a mental challenge as well as a sensory feast. Connected is the ideal reason to play Tetris once again… and again, and again, and again, and again…

  • Cross-Platform Multiplayer is included! With the new Room ID functionality, players from various platforms may effortlessly join Friend Match rooms.
  • In Friend Matches, Spectator Mode is accessible. A room may hold up to 8 people in total.
  • Incorporates the “Zone” mechanism, in which players may enter “the Zone” to halt time (and Tetriminos falling) to either get out of a tricky position that would otherwise result in “Game Over,” or rack up additional line clears for added prizes.
  • “Zone Battle,” a multiplayer feature that uses the time-stopping Zone mechanism from Tetris Effect to mix up regular 1-on-1 Tetris gaming.
  • A “Connected” co-op option, in which up to three players may join their Tetris playfields and play as one.
  • There are over 30 distinct levels, each with its own music, sound effects, graphical style, and backdrop, all of which grow and change as you go through them.
  • Unlockable avatars, ranked and unranked play, matchmaking, and player advancement.

Tetris Effect: Connected’s new 1.2.8 update is now available to all players.
