About The Cub

Platform parkour game with current twists and concepts, inspired by famous SEGA games from the 1990s such as The Jungle Book, Aladdin, and Lion King. Platform parkour through humanity’s ruins. Outsmart deadly hybrid flora and developed creatures. Solve environmental riddles that keep you on the edge of your seat. And remain one step ahead of the evil humans on a twisted post-apocalyptic safari hunt.

The Tale of a Pursued Cub

The ultrarich escape to Mars after the Great Ecological Catastrophe, leaving the others to die. However, among them is a little infant who has evolved resistance to the harsh world. Decades pass, and people on Mars return to Earth to conduct reconnaissance. When they see a young human kid, The Cub, they want to capture it right away. This sets in motion an adventure of escape, exploration, and discovery across humanity’s metropolitan ruins, complete with frenzied cat-and-mouse chases.

This world is full with stories

Explore the wreckage of mankind after the Great Ecological Catastrophe wipes off the majority of civilisation and leaves our ashes for an advanced mother nature to restore. The narrative of humanity’s demise, as well as clues to how and why it happened, are scattered throughout the globe. Abandoned genetics laboratory and crumbling brutalist skyscraper blocks. Minefields with depleted uranium and overgrown battlegrounds. Each level has its own narrative.

The Ideal Music for Keeping You Company

Radio Nostalgia From Mars, a personalized music that will crash land into your brain, and accompany you on your voyage. While a smooth-voiced radio DJ keeps the program rolling with a variety of cool apocalypse-wave sounds, sink into thought-provoking survival tales from the few ultrarich surviving on Mars.

If a Person’s Appearance Could Recall Memories

Meticulously created and stylised to resemble famous animated films from the late 1990s — Atlantis, Tarzan, and Road to El Dorado – while also borrowing from Samurai Jack creator Genndy Tartakovsky’s widely renowned Primal series.

The Cub will be available on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
