Sales figures – Breath of the Wild
The latest sales figures show that Breath of the Wild is still selling well. During the launch of the Nintendo Switch, this was the title everyone should have. At the same time, the game also came out on the Nintendo Wii U. Although this console never knew the success that Nintendo had hoped for, this Zelda title did well there as well.
Japan
In Japan alone 159,401 copies of the Wii U version of Breath of the Wild have been sold. Of course, there are many more copies of the version for the Nintendo Switch sold. Meanwhile, there are (just in Japan) just over a million!
The total number of sales in Japan thus amounts to 1,258,611 units!
Other Zelda titles
The Legend of Zelda – Ocarina of Time is the title that has been allowed to go through life as the best-selling Zelda game for the last 19 years . Please note that this only concerns the original Nintendo 64 version of the game.
If we add the Nintendo 3DS re-release there would be more to add 0.6 million and it would still be the best-selling Zelda ever. But that goal also seems more than achievable for The Legend of Zelda – Breath of the Wild.
