The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Nintendo Switch OLED and more

It would seem that a new OLED design for the Nintendo Switch version of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is on the way.

A user named AyoadeNBN posted the images on Reddit without providing much background information. Nevertheless, this individual asserts that the model was divulged either by a worker in a Chinese plant or by another individual who was working within the production line. It would seem that the Splatoon 3 Nintendo Switch OLED was leaked in a way similar to this.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom OLED variant for the Nintendo Switch isn’t the only piece of “news” that has emerged this week pertaining to the game. There have also been rumors on Reddit that the game would support Nintendo Switch Online.

Both of these rumors originated on Reddit. On the other hand, there was not enough information for us to determine whether or not it was important. Although an advertisement depicting the Nintendo Switch Online logo was published, there is no further information available. It may just indicate compatibility for cloud saves or downloadable content (DLC). Keep in mind that Breath of the Wild had a significant amount of supplemental material that was accessible through an Expansion Pass.

Some people have made the assumption that there would be online features or perhaps multiplayer support, but this is not even close to being verified at this point.

On May 12th, 2023, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released on the Nintendo Switch.
